Connect a tracker
Install the package on the GrigDesk server, configure access and select the tracker for the board. Internal tasks need none of these steps.
Install a driver
- Open the board's tracker settings using the gear button, then choose Add tracker.
- Select a listed source or enter your own driver's Git address.
- Choose Next, wait for stable versions and select one.
- Download and validate the package. Review its name, version, source, warnings and changes.
- Confirm application and wait for the result. Closing the dialog does not cancel the server operation; reopen it to check its state.
The installer uses stable vX.Y.Z tags. The version in driver.json must match the tag. Private repository access must be available on the GrigDesk server. Use a trusted source: driver code runs on the server and receives connection credentials.
Configure the connection
After installation, choose Configure for the package. The driver defines its fields:
| Driver | Required information |
|---|---|
| Bitrix24 | Portal address and the chosen method: access token or username and password. |
| Jira Cloud | Portal address, email and API token. |
| Custom | Fields declared by the package, such as an internal service address and credentials. |
Choose Test connection, save settings and select the external tracker for the board. Installing a package and selecting a connection are separate actions. Mandatory SSO or a disabled session API may require a different access method.
Updates and rollback
Settings let you check for updates, choose another version or restore the saved previous version. Each replacement needs package review and separate confirmation. Rollback restores driver code, rather than tasks in the external system.
Replacing an already loaded driver may require a manual server restart. Follow the operation's result; the server does not restart automatically. Removing a package disconnects the selected external tracker and preserves credentials. Internal GrigDesk tasks remain available.
