Databases
Manage database connections, queries and human decisions. Explore data manually and control agent access to individual sessions.
Available actions
- Store connection profiles and associate projects.
- Select an installed engine and a read or read/write role.
- Connect directly or through an open SSH session.
- Open sessions, execute queries and inspect results.
- Monitor active queries and history.
- Grant and revoke agent access.
Profile and session
A profile describes the connection; a session appears after login. The password is entered when connecting and is not stored in the profile. Available engines depend on installed GrigDesk capabilities.
MySQL and ClickHouse are built in. Another database system can use a compatible package or your own adapter. Start with Database drivers: installation, package structure and building a driver.
Query output can be limited. Truncation is explicitly indicated rather than presented as a complete result set.
For a tunnel, open an SSH session first. Check the project and working copy under Projects and Code.
